The above information was delivered by Journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam - Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, Permanent Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest at the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the Writing Contest "Deep memories of teachers and school" in 2025, which took place on the morning of December 5, 2025, in Hanoi.
He said that the 2025 contest recorded a sharp increase in the number of entries compared to previous years, with extremely rich topics and more prominent emotional depth. The stories were told from diverse perspectives from students sitting in school chairs, parents, teachers, to those who have left school for a long time, all of which created a special attraction. Many works not only have depth in feelings and thoughts, but also show the painstaking research and reproduction of very real details about the teaching profession.

Journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam - Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper spoke at the ceremony.
Mr. Pham Quynh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Education Publishing House, representing the Jury, shared the honor of being able to accompany such a meaningful playground. This year's judging journey did not stop at reading and evaluating the manuscripts, but was also a process of traveling through the emotional memories that each author conveyed in each word.
The judging process was carried out objectively by the Organizing Committee based on strict criteria, including: quality of writing style, emotional depth, authenticity and spreading value. A positive signal is that the number of high-quality articles has increased significantly.
The jury representative also acknowledged the maturity in the students' thinking about the teaching profession. They not only expressed their gratitude, but also showed their understanding of the difficulties, pressures and sacrifices of teachers in the context of educational reform. In addition, many articles by older authors, especially former teachers, also made a strong impression, bringing readers back to their school years, recreating the pride and professional responsibility that they have maintained throughout their lives.
"Many teachers shared that they were moved when reading the writings of their students. Parents also found their childhood memories in the stories about their old teachers. That shows that the vitality of the contest does not lie in the prize, but in the ability to create emotional connections and remind people of the good values of education," Mr. Pham Quynh shared.

The organizers of the contest took souvenir photos with the winning authors.
At the Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 First Prizes to the authors: Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Thi Hang, University of Military Culture and Arts, with the work "A small school in the middle of the ocean, the great heart of a teacher" and author Luu Thi Mai, Teacher at Ngo Quyen Secondary School, Hai Phong , with the work "The person who sows seeds of sunshine".
According to journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam, the contest will continue to be maintained annually with an increasingly professional, closer and more widespread spirit. The Editorial Board will continue to expand the digital platform so that the articles are not only on the newspaper, but also told through sound and images, conveyed to more readers. Memories of teachers must be revived, spread and become a sustainable bridge connecting generations of students.
