The contemporary art exhibition Toi Dieu? will open at Long Bien Art Space ( Hanoi ) on December 7 and run until December 28; simultaneously showing a parallel version of the exhibition in Berlin.

The event brings together 15 artists and artist groups from Vietnam, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Norway, etc., bringing multi-layered interpretations of the theme of Movement - one of the central concepts of contemporary art.

To the end? : Unique experimental space, connecting Hanoi - Berlin

Closing 3 years of art practice of MAP (international art exchange project initiated by Heritage Art Space since 2015) revolved around the concept of Movement , Arrival? posing an open question for the journey of "arriving": is there an absolute stopping point, or is all movement just a continuous arising? If the first year examined the theme of Peripheral Movement and the second year delved into Changes, Places of Displacement , then the third year - Arrival? became the convergence point of the artists' process of questioning, observing and redefining movement.

The exhibition showcases the three-year work of MAP artists, who attempt to interpret movement through traditionally static media such as sculpture, installation, photography or mixed media.

From that conceptual structure, the project expanded into a large-scale international cooperation program, including 4 Vietnam-Germany artist exchange trips, a series of workshops and practice sharing sessions between artists and the community. 2 parallel exhibitions at Long Bien Art Space (Hanoi) and Galerie Nord | Kunstverein Tiergarten (Berlin) will introduce the results of the artistic work of artists/artist groups, in many forms: completed works, research materials, artifacts, photos and videos . The project will be summarized with a thematic publication to be published in spring 2026.

The diversity in cultural backgrounds, artistic experiences and creative materials promises that the exhibition Towards the End? will become an open space for dialogue. Each artist is a point of view, and the exhibition is an interwoven structure of many movements: geographical, historical, psychological and social.
