Lam Dong: Opening Ceremony of the 2025 International Tea Festival
On the evening of December 5th, the opening ceremony of the World Tea Fest 2025 took place at Lam Vien Square (Xuan Huong Ward – Da Lat, Lam Dong Province).

The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son; former Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, 26 ambassadors from various countries, representatives of UNESCO, international organizations, businesses, experts, and a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son said that in recent times, the Government has decisively directed and implemented many policies to remove difficulties and obstacles, creating favorable conditions for people and businesses to develop tea production and trade strongly, enhancing their position in the world market, and achieving many positive results.

"To ensure the sustainable development of Vietnam's tea industry in a green, clean, high-quality, and high-value direction, ministries, sectors, and localities, including Lam Dong province, must continue to promote the restructuring of the industry; effectively implement the Project on the Development of Key Industrial Crops until 2030, including tea, aiming for large-scale production, value chain linkages, application of high technology, deep processing, product diversification, and meeting international standards...", Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son emphasized.

The highlight of the opening ceremony was an artistic program vividly recreating the journey of the tea plant, which has been closely associated with the lives of Vietnamese people for many generations.

At the opening ceremony, the audience enjoyed vibrant performances by singers Noo Phuoc Thinh, Duong Hoang Yen, Trang Phap, Dong Hung, Duy Linh, Meritorious Artist Quynh Huong, and others, along with an impressive carnival performance by nearly 80 Miss Cosmo International contestants. The costumes, showcasing the cultural colors of various countries, and the energetic performances created a dazzling international festival atmosphere, leaving a special mark on Da Lat.
