HCMC: Adjusting traffic organization through Tan Thuan 1 bridge

From December 6, the Traffic Police Department (PC08), Ho Chi Minh City Police announced traffic organization adjustments in the Tan Thuan 1 bridge area (Tan Thuan ward).

Accordingly, trucks weighing over 1.5 tons, passenger cars with over 16 seats, and vehicles with a total weight of over 6 tons are prohibited from passing through Tan Thuan 1 Bridge. The height limit for vehicles passing through Tan Thuan 1 Bridge is adjusted from 3.5m to 2.5m.

Traffic police also guide alternative routes:

Route 1 replaces passenger cars with more than 16 seats and trucks over 1.5 tons traveling through Tan Thuan 1 bridge: Huynh Tan Phat street - Nguyen Van Linh street - Tan Thuan 2 bridge - to Nguyen Tat Thanh.

Route 2 replaces passenger cars with more than 16 seats and trucks over 1.5 tons traveling through Tan Thuan 1 bridge: Huynh Tan Phat street - Tran Xuan Soan street - Nguyen Thi Xieu - Tan Thuan 2 bridge - to Nguyen Tat Thanh.

Ben Thanh Traffic Police Team (the unit in charge of the area) will arrange forces to regulate, divide traffic, and guide vehicles. At the same time, increase patrol forces to strictly handle violations.
