The water level of the Dinh River is rising and flowing rapidly.

On December 4, heavy rain from upstream caused the water level in the Dinh River area, Da Dung Bridge section in La Gi Ward and Tan Ly Bridge in Phuoc Hoi Ward (Lam Dong) to rise suddenly and flow strongly.

The rapid rise in river water levels has caused the current to become dangerous. Many coastal areas have been eroded, posing a risk to people traveling and fishing near the river.

Local authorities quickly arrived to assess the situation, put up warning signs and advised people to limit their movement and not stand near the riverbank, especially in areas with strong currents.

Authorities recommend that people regularly monitor weather information, proactively prevent and not let children play near the river during times of high water.

On-call forces are also deployed to promptly handle any situation that may arise, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property. Households with boats, canoes, and watercraft are required to anchor safely and strengthen their moorings to avoid drifting.

According to records, this morning, in the area in front of Vinh Thanh Church - Truong Vinh Ky Street, Phuoc Hoi Ward ( Lam Dong ), flooding occurred on the road. Due to prolonged rain, this area is often flooded due to small sewer pipes and insufficient drainage.

Upon receiving the news, traffic police officers and soldiers from Lam Dong Provincial Police were present to direct traffic and avoid local congestion in this area.
