On the afternoon of December 4, in Hanoi, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, cordially received Mr. Ha Vi, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam; and at the same time, on behalf of the leaders of the Party, State, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, received 500,000 USD from the Chinese Government through the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam to send to people in the provinces to overcome the consequences caused by floods.
Faced with the severe damage caused by floods to people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces, the Chinese Government has sent 500,000 USD through the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and floods in Vietnam.
Expressing his emotion when seeing the image of General Secretary To Lam, along with leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front directly coming to share with people in flood-affected areas, Ambassador Ha Vi affirmed that although this amount of money is not large, it shows the sentiments of the Chinese people sent to the Vietnamese people, with the wish to contribute to "sharing the joys and sorrows," helping the Vietnamese people overcome the difficulties of storms and floods.
The aid of 500,000 USD given by Ambassador Ha Vi to the Vietnamese people affected by storms and floods is an extremely meaningful gift. This is not only an important material support to help Vietnam overcome difficulties and stabilize people's lives, but also a word of encouragement and sharing from the Party, State and people of China towards the Vietnamese people. At the same time, it is a manifestation of the solidarity and friendship built by President Ho Chi Minh and Chairman Mao Zedong./.
