Tien Phong Newspaper and Vietravel Group give gifts to support people in flood-affected areas

On the afternoon of December 3, Tuy Hoa Ward Police coordinated with a working delegation of Tien Phong Newspaper and Vietravel Group to organize a gift-giving ceremony to support people affected by the recent floods in Tuy Hoa Ward.

Accordingly, Tien Phong Newspaper and Vietravel Group gave flood victims 3 tons of rice, 300 barrels of drinking water, 100 cartons of eggs, 7 bales of clothes and 8 cartons of disinfectant.

These gifts not only meet immediate essential needs, but also contribute to encouraging people's spirits, helping them soon stabilize their lives and overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

In addition, the delegation also awarded 20 million VND to 4 families that suffered heavy damage due to floods (5 million VND/household), providing more resources for people to overcome difficulties and gradually restore their lives after the flood.

This is one of the activities in the social security chain that Tien Phong Newspaper has maintained for many years in difficult areas affected by natural disasters across the country.

Journalist Phung Cong Suong, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, said this is the heart of philanthropists and the collective of staff and reporters of Tien Phong Newspaper sent to the people.

"We hope to contribute a small part to help Tuy Hoa ward residents have more motivation to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives after the natural disaster," said journalist Phung Cong Suong.

On behalf of the locality, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Chi Thi, Chief of Tuy Hoa Ward Police, expressed his deep gratitude to Tien Phong Newspaper and Vietravel Group. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Chi Thi said that this timely concern and encouragement has given more motivation to the government and functional forces in supporting people after the flood.

On the same afternoon, the working group also presented 150 million VND in cash along with 36,500 notebooks, 20,000 pens and many other school supplies to support Kim Dong Primary School and students to overcome difficulties and support teaching and learning after the natural disaster.
