Dong Nai organizes meeting of religious dignitaries, officials, and monks

(DN) - On December 4, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Dong Nai province organized a meeting for religious dignitaries, officials, and monks in Dong Nai province in 2025.

On this occasion, Catholic, Protestant and Seventh-day Adventist dignitaries, officials and monks expressed their thanks to the provincial leaders and the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Dong Nai province for creating favorable conditions for religions to operate smoothly.

In addition, representatives of religions also discussed with the meeting program chair a number of issues related to administrative procedures for granting land use right certificates, construction permits, etc. and hoped that the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Dong Nai province as well as authorities at all levels in the province would pay attention and support religions in resolving outstanding issues.

On behalf of the meeting program chair, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Dong Nai province Nguyen Van Khang informed the dignitaries, officials, and religious practitioners of the general situation after 5 months of implementing the merger and operating the 2-level local government model of Dong Nai province; the results of the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

At the same time, highly appreciate the coordination between authorities at all levels with religious organizations in carrying out social charity work, education , health care, social protection; mobilizing followers to participate in patriotic emulation movements, mobilizing followers to comply with the provisions of the law; coordinating to maintain security, order, and traffic safety during the organization of major religious activities; consensus in implementing key projects involving land acquisition...

Regarding the recommendations of religious organizations, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Dong Nai province, Nguyen Van Khang, said: The Organizing Committee has taken note and will coordinate with religious organizations, departments and branches of the province to remove obstacles.
