According to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, there are currently 8 border communes in the province, bordering the Kingdom of Cambodia. Although in recent times, Party committees and authorities at all levels have paid attention to investing in infrastructure development, taking care of social security, developing culture, education, etc., compared to the general level of the province, the border communes still face many difficulties and need to pay attention to investing in upgrading and expanding schools according to the direction of the Politburo in Conclusion Notice No. 81.

Through a survey and preliminary synthesis of the investment needs for school construction in border communes, the province currently has a total boarding and semi-boarding demand of about 10,500 students with 647 classes; but currently there are only 882 items/rooms, the need for additional items is 390 items/rooms; the total investment capital is nearly 400 billion VND.
