Raising Intellectual Property Awareness for Startups

(DN) - On December 4, the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province organized a conference to raise awareness of intellectual property: Registration, protection, enforcement of rights and commercial exploitation of intellectual property for businesses in general and start-ups in particular.

The conference was organized with the aim of raising businesses' understanding of the Vietnamese and international intellectual property system; guiding the registration process for establishing rights to trademarks, designs, inventions and utility solutions. At the same time, enhancing the capacity to protect and enforce rights, minimizing violations, disputes and legal risks; supporting start-ups in forming intellectual property strategies linked to business strategies and innovation.

Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province Vo Hoang Khai emphasized: With the participation of experienced experts, along with the spirit of learning and innovation of the business community, the conference is expected to bring practical knowledge, important tools and useful connections to help businesses be more confident in establishing, protecting, implementing and exploiting intellectual property.
