Start returning driver's licenses to people who complete the exchange and re-issuance procedures in April and May 2025

(DN) - On December 4, the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police said: The unit is returning hard copies of driver's licenses (PET cards) to people who have completed the procedures to change and reissue their driver's licenses in April and May 2025.

At the same time, the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province has completed printing and issuing driving licenses to foreigners who completed the renewal procedures between March and October 2025.

To facilitate the issuance, the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police requests all individuals and Vietnamese citizens who complete the procedures for changing and reissuing driving licenses in April and May 2025 to come directly to the receiving and returning points to receive new driving licenses. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, morning from 7:30 to 11:30, afternoon from 13:30 to 17:00. Saturdays are only open in the morning from 7:30 to 11:30 to facilitate people.

When coming to receive, people need to bring appointment paper, original ID card or citizen ID card and old driver's license if not submitted yet.

For foreigners who have completed the renewal procedure between March and October 2025, the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province also recommends that they come to receive their driving license during the same working hours. Documents to be prepared include an appointment letter, passport or temporary residence card and old driving license if not yet submitted.

The unit notes that in case another person comes to receive on your behalf, a power of attorney is required in accordance with legal regulations.

Previously, on November 7, the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province announced the completion of printing and issuing driving licenses for cases submitting applications in March 2025 and some driving licenses of foreigners, starting to hand over from November 7.
