Speaking at the visit, comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen expressed deep sympathy for the losses that the families are facing.
He highly appreciated the proactive spirit of the government and mass organizations in protecting the safety of people, especially women and children, the most vulnerable group when natural disasters occur.

The President of the Vietnam Women's Union emphasized that, in addition to timely relief, it is necessary to synchronously deploy solutions to prevent post-flood risks, especially ensuring environmental sanitation, supporting livelihood restoration, and repairing schools so that children can return to school soon.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen affirmed that the Central Association will continue to coordinate with the province in long-term social security programs, to help women and children have more support, gradually stabilize and rebuild their lives.
He also requested that the local authorities and associations at all levels continue to review the extent of damage in detail, identify the urgent needs of the people to synthesize and propose appropriate support between the province and the central government; at the same time, pay special attention to restoring facilities, trees, breeds and livelihoods for affected households.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 40 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, and visited the homes of 4 special gifts, each worth 2 million VND, along with necessities to disadvantaged women and orphans in the two localities. The gifts not only provided material support but also demonstrated the solidarity and sharing of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union with women and children affected by natural disasters.
