Identifying that supporting members to access preferential capital sources is a key task, the Commune Women's Union regularly coordinates with credit institutions to effectively implement the entrustment work. Up to now, the Union has guaranteed credit with the Social Policy Bank for 759 households with a total outstanding loan of nearly 40.2 billion VND; coordinated with the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development to support 14 lending groups with 167 members, with a total amount of 14.2 billion VND. Along with that, members also have access to over 3.2 billion VND from the capital source of the Provincial Women's Support Fund and the TYM Fund. In parallel with credit activities, the Union is interested in improving knowledge and production skills for members. From 2021 to present, the Union has coordinated with cooperatives and enterprises to organize 30 training courses on transferring science and technology on rice care, fertilizer use, and pesticides for over 2,800 members; Credit to supply over 480 tons of NPK fertilizer at preferential prices, helping to reduce input costs and improve agricultural production efficiency. Notably, the models to support women in economic development built by the Association are increasingly diverse, suitable to the actual needs of members. The model of "Group of cadres, branches, and women's groups progressing together", "Branch, women's groups accompanying each other to overcome difficulties" with 168 members has created a cohesive environment, encouraging women to share experiences, boldly do business, and start businesses in the locality. Thereby, the movement of women competing to develop the economy is spreading more and more widely. Along with that, the Commune Women's Union has stepped up propaganda and mobilized members to change the structure of crops and livestock, apply science and technology, and at the same time encourage members to develop industry, services, and traditional occupations to increase income. Therefore, many members have boldly invested in machinery, equipment, and expanded production and business workshops. Typical examples include the land accumulation model with an area of 100 hectares and the establishment of a cooperative by Ms. Tran Thi Lanh, Giao Nghia village; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoan, Tra Dong village, who rose to become the owner of a local wooden furniture center. Ms. Hoan said: Starting from a small scale with little capital, I gradually expanded the store and built a factory. On average, each year my family supplies thousands of products to the market, not only bringing a stable income to the family but also creating stable jobs for a number of local workers. In particular, thanks to the credit support of the Commune Women's Union, in 2024 I established the Khanh Linh Wooden Furniture Production Cooperative with 10 members, helping many members feel secure in their profession and have a stable income.

In the branches, women's associations have promoted the core role in supporting members in economic development. The Women's Association of Tra Dong village is a unit with many effective ways of doing things with 30% of members doing services, 70% of members doing agricultural production. Ms. Ngo Thi Tham, the Branch President, said: The Branch closely follows the direction of the Commune Women's Union, integrating propaganda on policies, laws with technical training, and mobilizing members to boldly change production models. The Branch has lent over 1.5 billion VND to 35 households from the Social Policy Bank, so many economic development models have achieved high efficiency. Along with that, poverty reduction is of special concern to the Branch. Every year, the Branch reviews poor households, near-poor households, and women's households in difficult circumstances to develop appropriate support plans. In addition to capital support and technical training, the Association also promotes vocational training and job introduction for women during the off-season, such as sewing, weaving plastic baskets, weaving rattan chairs right in the locality, with an income of 2-3 million VND/person/month. From 2021 to now, the Women's Association of Tra Dong village has supported 5 members in difficulty with 20 million VND, helped 10 poor households headed by women escape poverty and mobilized members to contribute to building a house for a woman in difficulty with an amount of 10 million VND.

Over the past 5 years, 100% of women members in especially difficult circumstances have been supported by the Women's Union of Kien Xuong commune; 42 poor households headed by women have escaped poverty, contributing to reducing the poverty rate of the commune to 1.64%, promoting local socio-economic development.
