Lao Cai students won 4 prizes at the "13-year-old champion" contest

Participating in the "13-year-old champion" contest jointly organized by the Vietnam Olympic Committee, Sports and Life Magazine, and Trang Nguyen Cultural - Educational Media Joint Stock Company, Lao Cai students passed the rounds and won 4 consolation prizes.

After nearly 3 months of being held in many localities across the country, the 2025 “13-Year-Old Champion” contest attracted more than 100,000 contestants to participate in both online and in-person formats. 100 excellent contestants were selected to participate in the national final round.

Within the framework of the program, contestants participated in the talk show "Confidence to shine", where they listened to stories of overcoming difficulties and effective learning secrets from those who had won high prizes in previous seasons.

In addition, contestants also interacted through the interactive game "Quick-witted Champion" and enjoyed musical performances, such as: "13-year-old Champion", "Thousand Vietnamese Dreams".

According to the results announced on the afternoon of December 4, Lao Cai has 4 Encouragement prizes for the following students: Vu Ha Phuong (class 6B, Ngo Van So Secondary School, Lao Cai ward), Nguyen Bich Giang (class 8A, Ngo Van So Secondary School, Lao Cai ward), Truong Tran Thuy Duong (class 8A, Van Hoa Secondary School, Lao Cai ward) and Nguyen Phuong Linh (class 6A2, Ly Tu Trong Secondary School, Cam Duong ward).

This achievement contributes to spreading the spirit of studiousness, the will to overcome difficulties and the desire to conquer knowledge of Lao Cai students. This is also an important source of motivation for students to continue to strive, boldly participate in intellectual playgrounds in the following years, affirming their capacity and courage.

“13-year-old Champion” is an annual learning playground for junior high school students nationwide. The competition aims to foster intelligence, courage, confidence and integration ability for the new generation of Vietnamese students.
