Lao Cai students won Gold Medal at Vietnam National Music Festival 2025

Over two days (November 29-30), the Vietnam National Music Festival 2025 (National Music Competition) was held at the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Military University of Culture and Arts. Students from Lao Cai province won the Gold Medal at the competition.

The contest was organized by the Young Pioneer and Children Newspaper in collaboration with Hanoi Eventmore, bringing together more than 400 contestants from 5 to 18 years old from all three regions of the country.

Student Nguyen Linh Dan, class 6A, member of the art team of Ngo Van So Secondary School ( Lao Cai ward) excellently won the Gold Medal at the competition.

The contest attracted nearly 700 entries from contestants from all over the country to compete in the online preliminary round. From there, the organizing committee selected the 400 best young talents from across the country to participate in the national live final round of "ShiningStar".

At the contest, Nguyen Linh Dan, a student of Ngo Van So Secondary School, performed excellently with the piece "Co Doi Thuong Ngan". With a confident demeanor, good technique, outstanding musical ability, outstanding and emotional performance, Linh Dan completely conquered the judges with a near-perfect score. Linh Dan's achievement is a source of great pride for the teachers and students of Ngo Van So Secondary School, and at the same time affirms her persistent efforts in the process of artistic training.
