More than 1,000 students of Lao Cai ward participated in the program responding to Vietnam Law Day November 9

On the morning of November 3, at Ngo Van So Secondary School, the Provincial Bar Association coordinated with the People's Court of Region 6 and the People's Committee of Lao Cai Ward to organize a program to respond to Vietnam Law Day on November 9 and a mock trial to propagate laws on traffic safety.

Attending were representatives of leaders and professional departments of the Department of Justice, the Provincial Bar Association, the People's Court of Region 6, the People's Committee of Lao Cai Ward, the Board of Directors, teachers of schools in the area and more than 1,000 students of Ngo Van So Secondary School.

Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Dung - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Ward People's Committee spoke at the program.

This year's Law Day is themed "Building a culture of law compliance in the whole society, raising awareness of respect for the Constitution and the law among all citizens and organizations". To concretize the theme, the organizing committee has implemented many practical activities suitable for school age, such as: mock trials based on real cases that have occurred in the area; and propaganda of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety.

At the program, schools in Lao Cai ward signed a commitment for union members, team members and students not to violate laws on traffic order and safety.
