Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee agrees on logo and key visual of Red River Festival 2025

Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee has just issued Document No. 3627/UBND-VX dated November 3, 2025 on unifying the logo and key visual (visual identity) of the Red River Festival 2025.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee agrees with the content and image of the logo and key visual of the Red River Festival; at the same time, it requests the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to use this identity to develop propaganda, promotion, introduction and brand recognition content of the Festival, as well as related activities; strengthen inspection and supervision to ensure that the management and use of the logo and key visual comply with legal regulations, especially on copyright and intellectual property, to avoid complaints and disputes.

The logo of the Red River Festival 2025 is inspired by the characteristic winding image of the Red River with heavy alluvium, stylized from the letter "S" - evoking the shape of Vietnam, while expressing the suppleness and softness of the typical brocade silk strip of the Northwest region. This flow also contains the image of rich nature and the ingenuity and sophistication of the people here.

The color palette is smoothly transitioned from the green of the mountains and forests, to the red-brown of the Red River alluvium, to the green of the ocean, expressing a harmonious, complete whole between the mountains - plains - coast, symbolizing the regional connection in the cultural space of the Red River.

The Red River Festival 2025, taking place from November 18 to November 24, 2025, in Lao Cai province with many unique and attractive activities. This is an event of important significance in politics , diplomacy, economy, culture, and tourism. Thereby, contributing to creating momentum to promote economic growth, expand cooperation and foreign relations between Lao Cai, the provinces of the Red River basin (Vietnam) and Yunnan province (China).
