Da Nang invites Swiss businesses to explore investment opportunities

Attending were Mr. Philipp Rösler, Chairman of the Switzerland - Vietnam Economic Forum and businesses.

At the meeting, the city leaders informed the Swiss-Vietnam Economic Forum organization about the overview of the socio-economic development orientation, investment environment and incentive mechanisms and policies of Da Nang city, especially attracting investment into the Vietnam International Finance Center (IFC) and the Free Trade Zone (FTZ).

Da Nang is aiming to become a center of innovation, sustainable development and investor-friendly.

On the side of the Swiss - Vietnam Economic Forum, businesses exchanged and learned about contents such as: policy mechanisms, infrastructure, human resources, potential fields to attract investment in Da Nang.

In his concluding remarks, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh thanked the delegates and Swiss businesses for taking the time to attend the Switzerland - Vietnam Economic Forum in the city.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee said that in addition to the in-depth discussion session at the forum, the introduction of investment opportunities in Da Nang provided a lot of in-depth information, helping both sides better understand the fields in which Da Nang is calling for investment and grasp the specific interests of Swiss investors.

“In the coming time, the parties will continue to maintain exchanges through flexible forms such as online or in-person meetings, either in groups or by individual businesses.

This approach will help both sides shorten time and discuss more specifically about each project, especially issues related to procedures, priority investment areas and support policies of the city," said Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh.

At the meeting, Mr. Philipp Rösler, Chairman of the Switzerland - Vietnam Economic Forum, thanked the city leaders for their warm welcome and the professionalism in organizing the Switzerland - Vietnam Economic Forum 2025 in the city in recent days.

Mr. Philipp Rösler affirmed that he will convey information and messages at the working session to the Swiss business community and suggest business opportunities in Vietnam, especially Da Nang city.
