According to Nguyen The Hiep, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, with tens of thousands of visitors, the revenue of the stalls increased by an average of 30% - 50%, or even doubled compared to normal days.

"The event not only achieved the goal of stimulating consumer demand but also clearly demonstrated the role of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade in combining the promotion of Vietnamese goods consumption with comprehensive digital transformation in domestic trade," said Mr. Nguyen The Hiep.

The "November Promotion Festival" in Hanoi, with nearly 1,000 participating sales points from reputable Vietnamese retail systems, chain stores, and manufacturing businesses such as Central Retail (GO!, Topmarkets), BRGmart, Fujimart, Winmart, Habeco , AEON, Lotte, Co.opmart, MediaMart, Pico, Soi Bien, HomeFarm, Hacom, etc., created a rich and widespread consumer space, providing people with access to high-quality products at preferential prices.

Furthermore, to promote smart consumption and e-commerce, the event attracted the participation of the e-commerce platform Shopee with its 11.11 sale program, offering discounts up to 11 million VND, a chance to win 111 iPhones, and free shipping.

In support of the green mobility program, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Linh – Deputy General Director of Green Operations for SM in Vietnam and Laos – stated: “In November, Hanoi residents who choose any of SM's green transportation options, such as cars, motorbikes, delivery services, etc., will receive discounts of up to 30% on transportation codes and even more benefits when registering for the Hanoi Green membership package to receive more attractive gifts and promotions.”

Following the success of the "July Promotion Day" and "November Promotion Day" events, Mr. Nguyen The Hiep stated that the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade will continue to promote the digitalization of concentrated promotional programs in the coming period, especially at the "Hanoi Midnight Sale" event, a major shopping extravaganza during Black Friday in Hanoi, with promotions offering discounts up to 100%, creating a highlight in the series of events at the end of November. The event launch ceremony is expected to take place on November 28th at GO! shopping malls – Central Retail Vietnam Group.

It can be said that, through a series of promotional events in Hanoi and concentrated promotional fairs, the Department of Industry and Trade has clearly defined its role in promoting the development of the domestic market, increasing the competitiveness of businesses in the capital city, and shaping a civilized and modern consumer culture.

"Through this program, the Department of Industry and Trade also integrates elements of sustainable trade, such as developing a green and smart consumer ecosystem, prioritizing Vietnamese goods with clear origins, promoting e-commerce, and limiting intermediary costs," Mr. Nguyen The Hiep informed.

The success of these events is proof of Hanoi's correct direction in using technology as a lever for sustainable consumer development. The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade will continue to work alongside businesses, citizens, and technology solution providers to expand the digital platform in commercial activities, contributing to building Hanoi into a smart and modern commercial center of the country.

With a rich series of activities, from extensive promotional programs and digital technology experiences to trade promotion and the promotion of Vietnamese goods, the Hanoi City Concentrated Promotion Program 2025 is expected to contribute to achieving the city's GRDP growth target of 8% or more in 2025, raising the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the entire capital city to a growth rate of 14%, in accordance with the directive of the Hanoi People's Committee.
