KienlongBank joins hands to "Connect", contributing 3 billion VND to the Central region

The historic floods in the last months of 2025 have submerged the Central and Central Highlands regions, causing loss of life and property; paralyzing traffic; and seriously affecting production.

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and promoting the spirit of mutual love, mutual assistance, and noble gestures to join hands to support compatriots affected by natural disasters, on the morning of November 5, KienlongBank donated 3,000,000,000 VND (three billion VND), and at the same time, called on employees across the system to join hands to support our compatriots in the Central region, to where the losses still exist. Attending the ceremony, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, member of the Presidium, Head of the Social Work Department - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, received support from KienlongBank for people affected by floods in the amount of 3 billion VND.

Notably, this meaningful contribution is the result of the joint efforts of KienlongBank and the community, connecting more than 300,000km recorded in the online race "Amazing KienlongBank Race 2025" - a sports activity organized on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of KienlongBank's establishment, demonstrating the spirit of "Connecting values" that the bank steadfastly pursues.

Present at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Hong Minh - Acting General Director emotionally expressed: "The Board of Directors and employees of KienlongBank understand the pain, loss and immense damage of the people of the Central region. Every year, the Central region suffers dozens of storms and floods, which is also how many times we understand the social responsibility in difficult times. Through this small contribution, we hope to give people more strength to stand firm and soon stabilize their lives after storms and floods."

KienlongBank's Board of Directors emphasizes that social security is one of the strategic focuses of the bank's sustainable development, in parallel with business activities. The staff deeply understands the spirit and philosophy of "Connection" of the bank for a strong and humane community.

In addition, KienlongBank also contributed more than 320 million VND to support the people of the Central region through the Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province. Previously in 2024, when the people of the North were severely affected by storm No. 3 (Yagi), KienlongBank employees also raised more than 1 billion VND to give to people in Lao Cai province, supporting people to rebuild their lives.

Every year, KienlongBank also spends nearly ten billion VND on other social security activities in the fields of health, education, transportation and gratitude activities. In particular, on the occasion of the bank's 30th anniversary, KienlongBank built 9 "Connecting Bridges" in the Western provinces.

Recognizing the bank's positive contributions to the movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025, the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam recently decided to award a Certificate of Merit to KienlongBank as a unit with outstanding achievements in this emulation movement.

Celebrating 30 years of the journey of "Connecting Values", KienlongBank continues to affirm the spirit of accompanying the country, where each individual effort blends into collective strength, together creating good values, spreading love and social responsibility.
