Prudential supports Mai Son Kindergarten, Nhon Mai commune to overcome storm and flood

Recently, Prudential Vietnam Insurance Company (Prudential) cooperated with the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society and the Nhon Mai Commune Red Cross Society to implement a program to support teaching and learning materials for Mai Son Kindergarten, located in Huoi To 2 village, Nhon Mai commune, Nghe An province.

Since the beginning of the rainy season, major storms have continuously hit Nghe An, causing serious natural disasters such as strong winds, heavy rains, flash floods, landslides and flooding. Natural disasters have disrupted traffic, thousands of houses have had their roofs blown off, damaged, buried or swept away by water. The storms have caused great damage to houses, livelihoods, people and caused significant impacts on the lives of people in the area, especially in mountainous communes.

In order to join hands to support people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, Prudential continues the journey of "Giving love" through the program to help improve learning and living conditions for children in the highlands, contributing to creating a safe, comfortable and friendly educational environment. The total value of the support package for Mai Son kindergarten is 130 million VND. The donated equipment includes: teaching aids, school supplies, living and playing supplies.

Previously, in 2024, together with the company's budget, Prudential called on employees and consultants to join hands to contribute up to 2.4 billion VND to support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and floods, giving more than 2,400 social security packages to affected families. Also in October, in response to the damage caused by floods in the North, Prudential Vietnam contributed 1 billion VND through the Vietnam Children's Fund to support overcoming the consequences.
