
At 8:20 a.m. the same day, the City Border Guard Command received a directive from the Commander requesting the mobilization of forces and vehicles to transport patient Ho Thi Nho (born in 1953, residing in Bai Lang village, Tan Hiep commune) from Cu Lao Cham island to the mainland for emergency treatment.
At 8:45 a.m., ship BP 081201 of Border Guard Squadron 2 (stationed in Son Tra), commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Pham Trung Hieu, Squadron Leader, along with 8 officers and soldiers, set off on a mission in conditions of level 4-5 waves, strong winds, and limited visibility.

At 11:10 a.m., ship BP 081201 arrived at Cu Lao Cham port, quickly received the patient and brought him ashore.
Throughout the journey, the border guards continuously adjusted the speed and maintained the ship's direction between high waves to ensure absolute safety for the patient and the crew.
At 1:00 p.m. the same day, ship BP 081201 docked at Border Control Station Construction 15 (Son Tra), handed over the patient to the city's 115 Emergency Center and continued to transfer to Da Nang Hospital for treatment.
