If we look deeply into the nature, this is not a personal conflict between two stars, but a "psychological war" between fan communities.
The conflict originated from a seemingly small detail: the arrangement of the two artists' images on the event poster at Nguyen Hue walking street (HCMC). Son Tung and Soobin were both placed in the center, but the size and layout made Son Tung's fans think that their idols were not given priority commensurate with their position in the V-pop music industry.
Soobin's fans, on the other hand, countered that every artist deserves equal respect and their idols are just as famous.
From a design detail, the debate between the two fandoms Sky and Kingdom of the two male singers exploded online, turning a simple music event into a social topic.
In fact, the debate does not originate from the artists but from the audience's feelings for their idols. In the entertainment environment - where name means fame and influence, every small change in the way of communication can touch the pride of fans.
Modern fandoms not only love artists, but also protect their image as an “honor collective”.
Therefore, "internet wars" like Son Tung - Soobin are not only musical stories, but also cultural phenomena: when the public wants to affirm the "position" of their idols in a competitive ecosystem.

It is worth noting that both artists handled the crisis in a civilized manner. On stage, Soobin proactively called out both fandoms, calling for “love each other”, showing an open and understanding attitude. Meanwhile, Son Tung chose to share a positive message: “We don’t need to win against anyone, we just need to win against ourselves from yesterday.”
This calm and tactful response not only helps reduce tension, but also shows the mettle of two young artists who have experienced many media storms.
From the perspective of a media expert, Mr. Hoang Van - Communications Director of Clover Company - commented: "The incident of Son Tung and Soobin sets a lesson for the Vietnamese entertainment industry. First, the organizers need to be clearly aware of the impact of each promotional detail. A poster, performance order or small statement can create a chain effect.
Second, artists need to have stronger interactions with their fandoms, to guide and instruct them to behave in a civilized way - cheering on their idols but not attacking other artists. When fans understand that respecting their opponents is also respecting their idols, then entertainment culture can mature."
Mr. Hoang Van commented that orientation and interaction with fans is very important, because otherwise it will lead to more negative consequences. He gave a typical example of the fandom of Chinese artists. The fact that fans compete with each other because they want their idols to be more famous and have a better reputation sometimes causes unnecessary controversy.
"The Son Tung and Soobin incident can be seen as a "test" for the entire V-pop ecosystem: how artists stay calm, how the media regulates, and how the public expresses their feelings. No one wins in the fandom war, because in the end, what remains is musical value, professionalism, and attitude," said Mr. Hoang Van.
It can be seen that, amidst the noise of social networks, the image of Son Tung and Soobin still shines on stage - where they choose music as a common language, not competition. And perhaps, that is the most beautiful dialogue between two real artists in the Vietnamese entertainment industry today.
