The 6th Quang Ninh Province Party Building Journalism Award (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) in 2025 has received the attention and positive response of reporters, editors of press agencies and officials, civil servants and public employees in the area.

Accordingly, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee (the Standing Agency of the Award) received 204 entries, an increase of 4 entries compared to 2024. Of which, 31 entries were from television, 27 from print newspapers, 31 from radio, 105 from electronic newspapers, and 10 from press photos. Quang Ninh Newspaper, Radio and Television is the unit with the most entries with 87 entries.

The final jury evaluated the photojournalism works.

On that basis, from October 28 to 31, the sub-committees of judges carried out the judging process. The entries for the award closely followed the issues identified in the rules, ensuring quality, authenticity, objectivity, focusing on propaganda work, praising advanced models in many fields. Many works showed careful investment in content, demonstrating the authors' sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for the topic of Party building. The works closely followed hot issues, outstanding events, and key tasks of Party building and rectification; deeply reflecting movements, examples, models, and good practices at the grassroots level. Some works had attractive, creative, widespread methods of expression and had a positive social impact. The sub-committees proposed 48 works to enter the final round.

Based on the review, evaluation and grading of each work, the Final Jury selected 39 works to propose to the Organizing Committee of the 6th Quang Ninh Golden Hammer and Sickle Award - 2025 to award 38 prizes including: 4 A prizes, 9 B prizes, 12 C prizes, 13 consolation prizes and 1 thematic award. In addition, the Final Jury also agreed to send 48 works to participate in the 10th National Press Award on Party Building - 2025.
