Delegation of the Federation of Thai Journalists (under the Royal Thai Government) visited and worked at Quang Ninh Newspaper, Radio and Television.
Receiving and working with the delegation, journalist Nguyen The Lam, Director and Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ninh Newspaper, Radio and Television, quickly informed the delegation about the outstanding development achievements of Quang Ninh province in recent times; the strategic goal of the province before 2030 to become a centrally-run city, and by 2045 to be one of the important economic locomotives of the country.
The delegation also heard an introduction to the operation of Quang Ninh Newspaper, Radio and Television; the results of professional activities; cooperation activities in communication; lessons learned in building and operating a converged, multi-platform newsroom model to adapt to the digital age, both meeting the diverse information needs of the public and effectively serving the socio-economic development goals of the province.
Grandfather Nakorn Veerapravati, President of the Thai Journalists Federation, highly appreciated the management and content organization model of Quang Ninh Newspaper, Radio and Television. The experiences from the visit and work are the basis for the Federation to build programs and plans to improve the effectiveness of press activities of member organizations, for the development goals of the country, especially in the context that press agencies in Thailand are also facing many difficulties and challenges from social media, artificial intelligence, etc.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue promoting exchange and cooperation activities in expertise and profession in the coming time.
Previously, a delegation of the Thai Journalists Federation visited the new headquarters of Quang Ninh Newspaper, Radio and Television.
