Emergency support of 100 billion VND to Da Nang to overcome damage caused by floods

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 2427/QD-TTg to provide emergency funding for Da Nang city to overcome damage caused by floods.

Specifically, the Prime Minister decided to support 100 billion VND from the central budget reserve in 2025 for Da Nang City to meet immediate emergency needs and stabilize people's lives after floods as requested by the Ministry of Finance .

The Ministry of Finance is responsible for the contents, data of reports and proposals, recommendations, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City is responsible for managing and using the above-mentioned funds, ensuring compliance with the provisions of the law on state budget and other relevant legal documents, ensuring the correct purpose of use, correct objects, publicity, transparency, no loss or negativity; at the same time, report the results of use to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and relevant agencies for synthesis and reporting to the Prime Minister.

* In the face of the severe damage caused by storms No. 11 and 12 and the prolonged floods, which have had particularly serious impacts on people's lives, property and livelihoods, Party Central Committee member, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Head of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee Ha Thi Nga signed and issued a notice on continuing to mobilize and support people affected by storms No. 11 and 12 and floods.
