Another fuel distributor has returned their business license.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just issued a decision to revoke the certificate confirming the petroleum distribution business of Ngoc Mai Production, Trade, Service and Transportation Joint Stock Company.

Decision No. 415, signed by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan on February 17th, clearly states the revocation of the Certificate of Eligibility to act as a petroleum distribution trader of Ngoc Mai Production, Trade, Service and Transport Joint Stock Company, whose head office is located at 128, Group 6, Diem Dien Town, Thai Thuy District, Thai Binh Province.

Business registration certificate No. 2900904322 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Thai Binh province on July 11, 2008; amended for the 15th time on February 6, 2024. Tax code: 29009043221. Certificate of eligibility to act as a petroleum distribution trader No. 348TNPP/QD-BCT issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on October 14, 2020.

The reason is that Ngoc Mai Production, Trading, Service and Transportation Joint Stock Company submitted Document No. 3 dated December 19, 2024, requesting to cease its role as a petroleum distribution trader.

Recently, many gasoline and oil distributors have requested to return their licenses or have had their licenses revoked due to not meeting the required business conditions.

The decision also states that Ngoc Mai Transport Service Trading and Manufacturing Joint Stock Company is responsible for sending the original copy of Certificate of Eligibility to be a petroleum distributor (No. 348) issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on October 14, 2020, to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Previously, in 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade also revoked the certificates confirming eligibility to act as petroleum distributors for several businesses, including Cuu Long Fuel Trading Joint Stock Company, Viet Nhat Petroleum Investment and Development Company Limited, and Phuoc Thanh Petroleum Private Enterprise (Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City)... because these businesses submitted written requests to cease operations as petroleum distributors.

In late November 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade also issued a decision to revoke the import and export business license of Trung Linh Phat Co., Ltd. due to several violations related to business operations, violations in storage and distribution, and the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund; the company had previously been named in the Ministry of Industry and Trade's inspection report for several violations.
