Sharing solutions for organizing multi-type newsrooms and managing press content

That is the core issue that delegates focused on discussing and sharing at the Seminar with the topic: "Organizing multi-type newsrooms and managing the quality of press content in the current context". The Seminar was organized by the Center for Journalism Training of the Vietnam Journalists Association in Ha Long Ward, Quang Ninh Province, on October 30 (part of a series of Seminars with the same topic organized in all three regions of the country).

Comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, attended and delivered the opening speech. Attending were leaders of Quang Ninh province; representatives of the Press Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism); leaders of central and local press agencies in the Northern region.

Speaking at the seminar, comrade Le Quoc Minh said that this is not only an opportunity for leaders of press agencies and journalists to share experiences and overcome difficulties, but also an opportunity to find solutions to the problem of organization, management, and improving the quality of information in the new context. The merger of press agencies requires changes in organizational structure, adjustments in thinking, emotions and professional responsibilities of leaders of press agencies and journalists.

The discussion sessions at the Seminar focused on the following topics: Trends in organizing modern newsrooms in the context of multi-platform and press agency consolidation; Restructuring the press system - an inevitable trend and an effective management problem; Content organization model - from production to distribution in digital newsrooms; Solutions to improve management capacity, foster leadership skills, operate local press agencies after mergers, operational lessons after mergers...

Delegates also spent time exchanging and sharing practical experiences and seeking solutions to improve the quality of information serving the public, contributing to building a professional, modern and effective Vietnamese press.
