Over 400 kg of glutinous rice and 200 kg of mung beans were collected and donated by kind-hearted people in the area through the efforts of the Thọ Bắc Village Women's Association and Kim Phú Pagoda. For many days now, the kitchen has been filled with the smoky aroma of stirring the rice and wrapping the cakes, creating a constant, lively atmosphere.

As soon as a batch of cakes is cooked, nun Tuệ Hạnh, the abbess of Kim Phú Pagoda, rushes to send them via charitable vehicles, handing them directly to the authorities so they can be delivered to areas submerged in floodwaters.
