Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Toan inspected the actual progress of the Nha Trang City Mixed Urban Area Project.

According to the report of the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward, to implement the Nha Trang City Mixed Urban Area Project, it is necessary to reclaim more than 226.7 hectares with 1,649 plots of land. Up to now, the ward has completed the surveying work; inventory of more than 113 hectares with 208 plots of land; completed the verification of land origin of more than 73.5 hectares with 120 plots, of which the compensation plan for 118 plots of land has been posted; approved the compensation plan for 67 plots, it is expected that before November 15, it will continue to approve 77 cases with 89 plots of land; handed over the site of 61 plots of 54 cases...

The locality has handed over the first phase of about 30.4 hectares of land to the investor and is expected to complete the second phase of land handover before November 15. However, currently, the project's site clearance work is facing a number of difficulties and problems related to land measurement and verification; compensation, support and resettlement policies; compensation land prices; resettlement land fund, etc.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Toan concluded that the Nha Trang City Mixed Urban Area Project is one of the important projects of the province, identified as an international-class riverside - coastal urban area, which is significant in creating architectural highlights, contributing to promoting the socio -economic development of the province. He praised the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward for its efforts in performing tasks according to the 2-level local government model, and at the same time actively and proactively carrying out site clearance work to serve the project implementation in the area.

To ensure the project's progress, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Toan requested the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward to continue to increase human resources, coordinate with relevant forces to speed up the progress of land inventory and verification, issue land origin certificates for 88 plots of land and establish, appraise, and submit for approval 77 cases with 89 plots of land before November 15; review and thoroughly handle cases without legal land documents, land transfers by handwritten papers, encroachment on river land in the project implementation area; consider and carry out compulsory land recovery in accordance with the law in cases of violations, lack of cooperation, and deliberate resistance. At the same time, strengthen mobilization and dialogue with households whose land is recovered to implement the project; develop detailed compensation and site clearance plans, clearly assign tasks and implementation time each week and month; Coordinate with investors to get people's opinions on land compensation prices, resettlement needs to have reasonable compensation and support plans...

The Department of Home Affairs advises the Provincial People's Committee on a plan to support human resources for the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward to speed up the progress of site clearance for projects. The Department of Agriculture and Environment advises the province to resolve the overlapping boundary of the Nha Trang City Mixed Urban Area Project with other projects; review the need for resettlement for people affected by projects in the ward so that the province can consider and arrange suitable land funds...
