Landslide on Highway 24

National Highway 24, the border section between Mang Den commune and Kon Plong commune, has just had a landslide, causing a risk to traffic safety.

Landslide point at Km99+350, on National Highway 24. Rocks and soil spilled onto part of the road surface. Upon receiving the information, the Department of Construction requested Kon Tum Construction and Traffic Works Management Joint Stock Company to quickly deploy to clear the collapsed soil. At the same time, install warning signs, barriers, divide lanes and arrange human resources and vehicles to be ready to respond.

Currently, the authorities are coordinating to monitor, assess the level of danger, deploy solutions, and ensure safe and smooth traffic along the entire route. Previously, at Km99+350, National Highway 24, two parallel cracks appeared on the slope, 2 to 5 meters apart. The cracks are about 45 meters long and 15 to 30 cm wide.
