Attending the training course at Cao Bang province were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Department of Education and Training (GD&DT), Cao Bang Newspaper, Hoang Dinh Giong Political School, Cao Bang College, and nearly 100 students who are lecturers of 5 political theory subjects and lecturers of Political Education; staff working on student affairs and the youth union executive committee of Hoang Dinh Giong Political School, Cao Bang College; full-time lecturers of political centers of communes and wards in the province; specialists of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
In his speech directing the training course, comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, stated: 2025 is a year of special significance, the time when the whole country organizes many major commemorative activities, conducts Party Congresses at all levels, and moves towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. In that context, the requirement is to improve the quality of political theory education , considering it the foundation for forming a life outlook, methodology and political belief for students.
The Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission acknowledged the positive results in recent times in innovating the content and methods of teaching political theory, improving the quality of the teaching staff and the awareness of learners. At the same time, he also pointed out concerns such as the program, textbook, teaching methods, the quality of the staff and especially the limited connection between theory and practical life.
Comrade Ngo Dong Hai said: The Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission is advising the Secretariat to have new directions and orientations in the near future, creating a fundamental shift in political theory education, associated with the implementation of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development. Innovation must also rely on teachers - those who directly impart knowledge, form political thinking, and arouse the will and aspirations of the young generation.
Accordingly, in 2 days, students will study key topics presented by leading scientists and experts : Continuing to perfect the theory of the Party's innovation path in the new development era; the team of lecturers and teachers teaching political theory with the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the new context; identifying, fighting, and refuting erroneous and hostile views, protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the new context; education on ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyle for students today; President Ho Chi Minh's creative arguments on socialism and building socialism in Vietnam; innovating teaching and learning methods of Ho Chi Minh's ideology in conjunction with the application of information technology; information on the strategic and important policies of the Politburo to contribute to the successful implementation of the two 100-year goals in the era of strong and prosperous development of the nation. Along with that is information on the core contents of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development; Circular No. 19/2025/TT-BGDDT, dated September 15, 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating rewards and discipline for students; on the arrangement of public service units in the education sector.
At the end of the course, the students continued to study the content of the subject in depth, flexibly apply it to teaching practice and Youth Union and Association work; proactively innovate the form of communication, link theory with real life, and create new changes. This is also an important preparatory step to meet the increasingly high requirements of the cause of educating the young generation in the new period. Thereby, contributing to building a team of teachers and young cadres who are steadfast in ideology, exemplary in action, and capable of adapting to the requirements of educational innovation and sustainable development of the country. The proposals and recommendations of the students in the training course will be considered and researched to be concretized for consulting in political theory work in the coming time.
