(gialai.gov.vn) - On the morning of November 1, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan worked with the wards: Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon Dong, Quy Nhon Tay, Quy Nhon Nam, Quy Nhon Bac and Nhon Chau commune on the operation of the 2-level local government apparatus and the direction and administration of socio-economic development in the area for the first 10 months of 2025. According to the report, up to now, the activities of localities have been basically smooth and continuous, the quality of service to people and businesses has been getting better and better; the operation of the Public Administration Service Center in handling administrative procedures, especially in the electronic environment, has gradually had positive changes. The work of arranging and assigning cadres and civil servants has been carried out in accordance with regulations, basically meeting the requirements of the task of implementing the 2-level local government model.

In the first 10 months of 2025, localities have focused on directing, drastically operating and effectively implementing socio-economic development tasks according to the set plan. Many areas have had positive changes such as: budget collection, urban management, public administration reform... In addition, cultural and social activities have been maintained, the quality of health care and education has been improved, national defense and security have been ensured, social order has been maintained, and the material and spiritual life of the people has continued to improve.

Regarding the work of combating illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing, in recent times, localities have strengthened the direction and management of fishing vessels, coordinated patrols, inspections, controls and handled fishing vessels violating regulations on combating IUU fishing; resolutely brought unqualified fishing vessels to centralized anchorage areas, and carried out a peak period of combating IUU fishing according to the direction of the province.

Regarding natural disaster prevention and search and rescue, localities have assigned tasks to members of the local natural disaster prevention and search and rescue command committee; developed a plan to reserve goods for natural disaster prevention in 2025; established natural disaster prevention shock teams to ensure forces and means are ready to respond promptly when natural disasters occur.

In the remaining months of 2025 and 2026, localities will continue to promote the achieved results, determined to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in 2026.

Especially, when Quy Nhon has just been voted by the famous travel magazine Lonely Planet (Australia) as one of the top 25 destinations in the world in 2026, localities must regularly coordinate to continue to build and elevate the "Quy Nhon" brand on the world tourism map.
