With the determination to create a breakthrough in attracting investment and developing rural industry, recently, Dong Tien Hung commune has focused on leading and directing the site clearance work to serve the investment project to build and operate infrastructure of Phong Chau industrial cluster. Up to now, 100% of households subject to land acquisition have agreed to hand over the site to the commune, contributing to speeding up the project implementation progress, opening up new expectations for local socio -economic development.

Phong Chau Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project (abbreviated as Phong Chau Industrial Park Project) is invested by a joint venture of PLD Phu Lam Joint Stock Company and Thang Long Trading Services Joint Stock Company, with a total area of over 52 hectares and a total investment of over 657 billion VND. This is a multi-industry industrial park, mainly in processing and manufacturing industry. According to the plan, phase 1 of the project will invest in completing synchronous technical infrastructure on an area of 34.5 hectares; phase 2 will have an area of 17.6 hectares. Practical experience shows that site clearance is always a key step in project implementation but is also a difficult and sensitive task. If not done well, it will affect the project's progress and directly impact people's lives.
Comrade Tran Chi Thiet, Chairman of Dong Tien Hung Commune People's Committee affirmed: This is a key project of the locality to create a clean land fund to attract investment, promote infrastructure development, socio-economic development, create jobs for workers, and improve people's lives. Therefore, immediately after the two-level local government came into operation, the Commune People's Committee established a Steering Committee for Land Acquisition and Clearance with subcommittees for security, law, and propaganda; promoting the leadership role of the Party cell, the responsibility of the leader, and exemplary Party members, mobilizing the participation of the entire political system, doing a good job of propaganda and mobilization to create consensus among the people with the task of land acquisition and clearance. In phase 1, the land acquisition area for the project involved 269 households. With a methodical, transparent, scientific approach, and high public approval, the site clearance work for the Phong Chau Industrial Park infrastructure investment and business project has been basically completed. The commune has handed over the clean site to the investor to prepare for construction of project items to ensure the set progress.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien, Head of Co Xa Village, said: Co Xa Village is the area with the largest area of land recovered in the commune to serve the project. Immediately after the commune implemented the land acquisition plan to serve the project, the village promoted propaganda through conferences, village meetings, and established delegations to each household with recovered land area to explain and persuade people to support this major policy. Thereby, people not only clearly understand the benefits of the project for local development but also recognize their rights and obligations in agreeing and handing over clean land to join hands in building their homeland. "My family was very excited, agreed from the beginning, handing over 2,448m2 of our family's agricultural land to the commune to implement the project. We hope the project will soon be completed and put into operation to create more jobs for local workers, giving priority to creating jobs for households whose land is recovered" - Ms. Vu Thi Nghien, Co Xa Village shared.
