The 220kV Phu Tho 2 transformer station (TS) project and connecting line is a level I, group B energy project invested by EVNNPT, NPMB represents the investor in managing and operating the project, and Power Transmission Company 1 takes over operation upon completion of the project.
The 220kV Phu Tho 2 transformer station is built in Thanh Son commune, Phu Tho province. The 220kV connection line is about 0.17 km long, connecting to the existing 220kV Viet Tri - Suoi Sap 2A Hydropower line, passing through Thanh Son commune, Phu Tho province.
Phu Tho 2 220kV transformer station has a construction scale of 220/110/22kV transformer station including 2 220/110/22kV-250 MVA transformers; in this phase, 1 220/110/22kV transformer with a capacity of 250MVA will be installed.
The 220kV side has 8 bays designed according to the two-busbar diagram with a ring busbar. This phase installs equipment for 2 line bays and 1 transformer bay, operating according to the triangle diagram.
The 110kV side has 18 bays designed according to the two-busbar diagram with a ring busbar. This phase installs equipment for 9 bays; reserves positions for 9 bays.
Control, protection and measurement, communication and SCADA systems: equipped in accordance with EVN and EVNNPT regulations, complying with current standards and regulations.
Once completed, the project will be of great importance in meeting the growing load demand of the power system in Phu Tho province.
At the same time, it creates strong connections between areas in the power system, increasing the ability to operate safely and stably for the national power system; contributing to reducing power loss in the transmission grid, increasing the efficiency of EVN's electricity production and business.
