20 projects entered the final round of the "Rural Women's Innovative Startup Competition" in 2025

Authors present their projects/ideas at the 2024 Women Entrepreneurship Competition Finals.

Specifically, the projects include: Recycling old nets into environmentally friendly bags (Nguyen Thi Le - Phu Yen ward); Sound from hands - Bird's nest profession for deaf and mute women (To Thi My Phuong - Tuy Hoa ward); Developing products from lotus plants (Vo Thi Hue - Phu Hoa 1 commune); Biological dishwashing liquid from fruit and vegetable peels (Le Thi Phuong - Tuy Hoa ward); Producing high-quality glue by cutting method (Nguyen Thi Bich Ly - Cu M'ta commune); Smoked meat, a specialty of the Thai ethnic group (Vi Thi Yen - Ea Kiet commune); Handmade products from wool and fabric (Nguyen Hoai Thanh Tuyen - Thanh Nhat ward); Handmade shoes from parachute fibers, rubber soles, combined with brocade patterns of ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands (Phi Thi Trang - Thanh Nhat ward);

The project owners who make it to the final round will be trained by the organizing committee on issues of business idea creation; business models, business planning, financial planning; product promotion and consumption; startup thinking, innovation; some skills needed to start a business (presentation, fundraising, communication...).

At the Final Round taking place on December 6 and 7, 2025, the authors will directly present their projects. Focusing on innovation; commercialization potential, growth potential; impact level and socio-economic significance of the idea, project... and answer interactive questions directly. The jury will evaluate the outstanding projects to consider the corresponding awards.

The contest “Rural women start-up innovation” in Dak Lak province in 2025 aims to encourage and arouse the spirit of entrepreneurship and creativity among women members, especially rural women and ethnic minority women. Thereby, searching, discovering and supporting the replication of feasible start-up models, linking women's start-up ideas with the National Target Program on new rural construction, developing OCOP products, local specialty products and green, sustainable start-ups, contributing to increasing income, developing the household and community economy.
