Memorial service and burial of martyrs' remains in Ea Sup commune

On November 4, the Defense Command of Area 3 - Ea Sup coordinated with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ea Sup and Ea Bung communes to organize a memorial service and burial of martyrs' remains at the Ea Sup Commune Martyrs' Cemetery.

Previously, according to information provided by Mr. To Duc Huy, Team K51 ( Political Department, Provincial Military Command) coordinated with the Defense Command of Area 3 - Ea Sup and the Ea Bung commune government to search for the martyr's grave in Mr. Huy's garden in Ea Bung commune.

The units solemnly organized a memorial service and buried the remains of martyrs found in Ea Bung commune.

After two days of digging, the unit discovered many relics such as bone fragments, military uniform fabric, battery cores, ammunition boxes, rubber shoe soles, bullet casings, bomb fragments, etc. Comparing the diagram, relics and related information, the unit determined that this was the grave of a martyr of Division 320, Army Corps 3, who died in the resistance war against the US.

Delegates offered incense at the martyrs' graves.

Immediately after the burial ceremony, leaders of the Provincial Military Command, local Party Committees and authorities burned incense at the martyrs' graves in the Ea Sup Commune Martyrs' Cemetery; expressing their respect and deep gratitude to the heroic sons who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
