According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, storm Kalmaegi is forecast to enter the East Sea on the morning of November 5, becoming the 13th storm to operate in the East Sea in 2025.
After entering the East Sea, the storm will continue to strengthen to level 13-14, gusting to level 16-17, moving towards the sea and mainland of the Central and South Central regions of our country.

From the night of November 6, the storm may directly affect the mainland from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa, the old Central Highlands (including the western area of the province) may experience strong winds of level 8-9, gusts of level 11; from November 6-7, Dak Lak province may experience heavy to very heavy rain.
To proactively respond to storms and heavy rains, floods, inundation, flash floods, and landslides that may occur after storms, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, organizations, Party Committee Secretaries, and Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards to focus on leading, directing, and immediately deploying prevention and control measures with the motto "proactively from early on, from afar" with the most determined spirit, anticipating the worst scenario, deploying prevention, avoidance, and response measures at the highest level to absolutely ensure the safety of people's lives, limit damage to property of the People and the State, and not be passive and surprised in any situation.
For coastal localities, mobilize the entire political system to take action, including urgently checking and counting boats, promptly informing about storm developments and guiding boats to safe shelters. Early implementation of storm prevention and control measures at sea, on islands, coastal areas and mainland. In particular, proactively reinforcing houses, constructions, sea dykes and supporting people in harvesting agricultural products that are about to be harvested according to the motto "green house is better than old field". Prepare forces and means to support evacuation and relocation of people in unsafe areas before the storm directly affects.

For inland areas, regularly monitor forecast bulletins closely to provide timely information to people. Check, review, and promptly detect areas at risk of flash floods, landslides, and deep flooding, especially in mountainous areas, along rivers and streams, to proactively evacuate people to safety; prepare forces, means, equipment, and necessities according to the "four on-site" principle to respond to storms and widespread heavy rains that can cause localized flooding.
Proactively deploy measures to protect production; inspect and review plans to ensure safety for the dike system, dams, downstream areas, especially vulnerable areas...
Specialized agencies, departments, branches and sectors: according to assigned functions and tasks, proactively direct and coordinate with relevant agencies, units and localities to deploy timely and appropriate response plans to storms and heavy rains.
