Tien Lu Secondary School: Two students found 36 million VND and returned it to the owner.

On the morning of November 3, at the flag-raising ceremony at the beginning of the week, Tien Lu Secondary School (Hoang Hoa Tham Commune) commended and rewarded two students, Pham Tuan Diep and An Quang Binh, class 7B, for picking up lost property and returning it to its owner.

Previously, on November 1, on their way home from school, two students picked up a handbag containing a mobile phone and 36 million VND in cash. Immediately after, the two students proactively contacted the Commune Police to find the person who dropped it and return the property. After verification, the owner of the bag was Ms. Nguyen Thi Chung, residing in Hoa Binh residential area, Hoang Hoa Tham commune.

Moved to receive the property back, Mrs. Chung expressed: “I just went to the bank to withdraw this money to settle a family matter, but accidentally dropped it. Thanks to the two children's honesty, I received it all back. I am truly touched and admire their kindness.”

Mr. Vu Van Ve, Principal of Tien Lu Secondary School, said: “The actions of Diep and Binh are shining examples of honesty and responsibility. The school highly appreciates this and considers it a valuable practical lesson for students in the whole school.”
