Quang Ngai: Landslide at Lo Xo Pass, traffic cut off

On the morning of November 3, the Party Committee of Dak Plo commune (Quang Ngai province) said that at Km1421 on Lo Xo pass (Ho Chi Minh road, section through Dak Plo commune), a large landslide occurred, with rocks and soil from the slope flowing down, covering the road surface, causing traffic disruption.

At the scene, a large amount of rock and soil spilled onto the road, causing vehicles at both ends to stop and be unable to move.

Mr. A So Lai, Secretary of the Dak Plo Commune Party Committee, directly inspected the scene and said that the landslide occurred in the early morning of the same day, causing a 10m long section of road to be filled. The local government has notified the authorities to mobilize machinery and forces to urgently level the road and soon clear the road.
