At the scene, Mr. Do Tam Hien, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, directly directed the recovery work. He said that the province directed units to deploy solutions to transport food, medicine and essential necessities to households that are isolated due to the collapse of Cay Sung bridge. This is the only route, so the province assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with the Department of Construction to urgently build a temporary bridge to ensure travel, especially in cases where people are sick and need emergency care.

On the afternoon of November 2, the Department of Agriculture and Environment and related units urgently approached the scene, deployed measures to fix the problem, and built a temporary bridge so that people could travel by motorbike. It is expected that on November 3, the units will try to complete the temporary bridge, serving cars to transport necessities and support rescue work.

Earlier, at about 5:15 a.m. the same day, Cay Sung bridge on route DH05, passing through Phuoc An village, Binh Minh commune, suddenly collapsed. At the scene, a bridge span was broken, one side of the bridge pier was eroded. Cay Sung bridge is 12 m long, 5 m wide, and 4 m high. The incident completely isolated 316 households with more than 1,280 people.
