Thang An commune militia supports strengthening houses and schools to cope with storm No. 13

DNO - On the morning of November 4, in response to the complicated developments of storm No. 13, the Military Command of Thang An commune mobilized all of the commune's regular militia forces to support schools and people in strengthening houses, trimming trees, and being ready to respond to storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi).

At schools, militia officers, soldiers and teachers reinforced the roofs, tied ropes and placed water bags to support classrooms, cafeterias and parking areas. The goal is to protect property, teaching equipment and ensure absolute safety for students and teachers.

The communal militia force supports households in vulnerable areas, policy households, and single-parent households by supporting their houses.

Deputy Commander of the Thang An Commune Military Command, Tran Anh Tuan, said that protecting people's lives and property is the top priority, so preparations for storm response are being carried out urgently, contributing to minimizing damage caused by the storm.

* Previously, nearly 20 officers and soldiers of Binh Minh Border Guard Station coordinated with the shock force and people of Thang Truong commune to actively support the reinforcement and repair of collapsed foundations and cracked walls at 5 houses in Thang Truong commune after heavy rain from the evening of November 2 to the morning of November 3.

The forces transported dozens of cubic meters of sand and soil, built embankments to prevent water from flowing into houses, and temporarily reinforced the foundations of five houses damaged by floodwaters.
