Floods damaged many teaching equipment and furniture in 7/19 schools; 7 hectares of vegetable and flower production for Tet were washed away or flooded; aquaculture and poultry farms were completely damaged.
In addition, about 20 tons of harvested rice were damaged. Many inner-city roads were flooded. Total damage in the ward is estimated at more than 18.3 billion VND.

In his speech, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Tri Thanh deeply sympathized with the damage suffered by Hoa Xuan ward in the recent flood; at the same time, he requested the forces to urgently assess the actual situation and activate the "four on-the-spot" motto, synchronously mobilizing the police, military , shock troops and volunteer groups.
Regarding response to storm No. 13, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city requested that localities develop flexible plans, clearly distinguishing between storm evacuation (prioritizing solid areas) and flood evacuation (prioritizing high points).
Gathering points must ensure logistics and medical care; at the same time, arrange security forces to protect property in residential areas so that people can leave their homes with peace of mind.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city noted to prepare enough food and essential food for people for at least 4-5 days; arrange medical forces and medicine in residential areas, focusing on vulnerable groups. The entire political system must act resolutely and proactively to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city coordinated with the City Business Association to present 60 gifts (including gifts and cash of 1 million VND) to people in difficult circumstances, lonely elderly people, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and people with revolutionary contributions affected by floods in Hoa Xuan ward.
* On the same day, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Tri Thanh and the working delegation visited 4 policy families in Hoa Xuan ward affected by floods, including: Mr. Doan Thanh Lan (child of a martyr), Mrs. Nguyen Thi Khanh (wife of a martyr), Mr. Nguyen Huu Ha (child of a martyr) and Mr. Nguyen Huu Giong (war invalid).

* Also on the same day, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Tri Thanh inspected the city's flood relief goods receiving point (No. 470 Le Van Hien Street, Ngu Hanh Son Ward).

Through the inspection, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city requested the units to proactively coordinate closely with transport units (military, police) and community vehicle units to have a backup transport plan and proactively deploy it, ensuring that relief goods are transported promptly.
In addition, the relief goods must be exported immediately and transported directly to the localities. Strictly follow the 72-hour regulation on paperwork. If after 72 hours there must be a place to receive the goods and sign confirmation to complete the documents, the departments must complete the import/export receipt.
