Artists contribute their heartfelt opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress.

On November 5, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations held a conference to collect comments on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party. This is an important political forum to promote the intelligence, enthusiasm and sentiment of artists and writers on major issues of the country and national culture.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations, affirmed that the conference to collect opinions from artists is an important, necessary and meaningful activity. According to comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc, the draft documents this time are not only for the 5-year term, but also guide the development strategy until 2045 and beyond. Therefore, artists need to promote their intelligence, enthusiasm and responsibility to make practical contributions to the country's important issues.

Comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc also affirmed that in the Draft documents this time, the content on culture and people is emphasized more and artists play an important role that needs to be promoted.

At the conference, delegates unanimously assessed that the draft document submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party was carefully and scientifically prepared, reflecting innovative thinking, strategic vision and aspirations for national development in the new period. The document affirmed the key role of Vietnamese culture, people and artists in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, considering this a spiritual foundation and an important endogenous resource for sustainable development.

Speaking at the conference, Associate Professor, Doctor, musician Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations , expressed his high agreement with the draft content, and at the same time proposed to perfect the institution to develop advanced Vietnamese culture, imbued with national identity; promote the pioneering role of intellectuals and artists; focus on grassroots culture, taking people as the center.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Do Hong Quan, in terms of direction and tasks in the draft political report, it is necessary to consider and supplement the building and development of culture that needs to be more closely linked with economic development; developing cultural industry, creative economy, digital economy, cultural tourism, heritage, etc.

Delegates such as Prof. Dr. Le Hong Ly, Chairman of the Vietnam Folk Arts Association; Associate Prof. Dr. Do Lenh Hung Tu, Chairman of the Vietnam Cinema Association; Architect Phan Dang Son, Chairman of the Vietnam Architects Association; People's Artist Trinh Thuy Mui, Chairman of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association; Musician Duc Trinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians Association; Poet Nguyen Thuy Quynh, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Province Literature and Arts Association; Dr. Dao Huy Toan, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Province Literature and Arts Association... raised many specific issues contributing to the documents, and at the same time proposed additional contents in the action program to develop the country's culture and cultural industry in the coming term.

All delegates expressed their confidence and expectation that, with the correct orientation and strategy of the Party and the consensus of the whole society, the 14th National Party Congress will be a great success, an important historical milestone, bringing the country to rapid and sustainable development, in which culture, literature and art will play an important and solid role in developing the country sustainably in the new era under the leadership of the Party.

Comrade Bui Van Thach, Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Deputy Head of the Editorial Team of the 14th Party Congress Documents, highly appreciated the profound and dedicated opinions of the artists. Informing that the process of compiling this document aimed at the spirit of "brevity, easy to understand, easy to do, easy to implement", reflecting the breath of life and being highly actionable, Comrade Bui Van Thach affirmed that the opinions contributed at the conference will be collected, contributing to enriching the theoretical and practical basis for the documents submitted to the Congress.

In his closing remarks at the conference, Dr. Doan Thanh No, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, said that the delegates' contributions focused on four major groups of content, namely ideology - culture - people; policy - institution - resource group; ethics - responsibility - artist's role group; implementation - bringing documents into life. The opinions expressed the intelligence, enthusiasm, belief, responsibility and aspiration of Vietnamese artists in the cause of building and developing the country in the new period.
