Da Nang Department of Health visits and supports medical work in highland localities after floods

DNO - On November 4, a working delegation from the Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) of Da Nang city visited, encouraged and supported highland localities heavily affected by floods.

The working group grasped the operational situation of medical stations; directed urgent efforts to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, ensuring essential conditions to continuously maintain medical examination, treatment and health care for people.

CDC Da Nang guides localities to carry out environmental sanitation, disinfect water sources, collect waste and proactively prevent and control epidemics after floods, especially infectious diseases that easily arise in humid conditions and polluted water sources.

On this occasion, the Department of Health presented 80 medicine bags, a number of medicines for disease prevention and treatment during the rainy and stormy season, along with gifts and essential necessities to the Regional Medical Centers of Bac Tra My, Nam Tra My, Dong Giang, Tay Giang and commune health stations in the area.
