The training course had nearly 50 students who were doctors and nurses from many hospitals nationwide. The program was directly instructed by international experts, including: Professor Wai Tat Wong (Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong), Dr. Amy McGowan (Royal North Shore Hospital, Australia), Dr. Nhi Nguyen and Ms. Rachele Griffin (Nepean Hospital & NICCER, Australia).
Accompanying the professional support is Dr. Huynh Trung Trieu ( Ho Chi Minh City Hospital for Tropical Diseases).
With the form of "hands-on training", the program helps students practice skills in handling real clinical situations, react quickly and be more confident when applying them to work.
In addition, the activity also creates opportunities for exchange, experience sharing and expansion of international professional cooperation, contributing to improving the quality of patient care.
Doctor Tran Quang Phap, Deputy Director in charge of Hospital 199, emphasized that intensive care plays a particularly important role in saving lives and improving the prognosis of patients.
Organizing the BASIC training course not only helps improve the professional capacity of the medical team, but also demonstrates the hospital's international integration orientation, aiming to become a high-quality medical center in the Central Highlands region.
