Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine honors 12 top students in postgraduate entrance exam

At the ceremony, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine honored 12 valedictorians of the 2025 postgraduate entrance exam for Master's, PhD, Resident Doctor, and Level I and II Specialist degrees.

Outstanding among them are students Dang Anh Thao (majoring in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Master's degree) with 20 points, Tran Nguyen Nhat Tin (majoring in Internal Medicine, Resident Doctor) with 36.5 points and Ho Si Dung (majoring in Internal Medicine, PhD) with 89.1 points - typical faces representing the academic spirit and dedication of the new medical generation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Master, Doctor Nguyen Duc Trung (Deputy Director of An Binh Hospital) shared: "In the context of constantly developing medicine, doctors need to constantly update their knowledge and practice their skills to provide safe and effective treatment methods. Postgraduate study is a journey of research, creativity and service. Each lecture aims to improve the quality of treatment, health care and bring good values to patients."

With a tradition of training high-quality medical human resources, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine currently implements a comprehensive postgraduate training system including 23 Level I specialties, 19 Level II specialties, 11 Resident Physician specialties, 12 Master's specialties and 4 Doctoral specialties.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Trong Hao, Chairman of the Board of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine spoke at the ceremony.

In 2025, out of a total of 1,169 admitted students, there will be 661 Specialist I students, 199 Specialist II students, 111 Resident Doctor students, 173 Master's students and 25 Doctoral students.
