Many surprises at the DIY training equipment contest in Quang Tri

On the afternoon of November 6, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province summarized the first Quang Tri province's DIY training equipment contest, 2025.

After 2 exciting days, the contest became an intellectual playground, arousing the spirit of creativity and innovation in teaching of teachers, students and pupils at vocational training institutions in the area.

Many models and products are highly appreciated for their creativity and high applicability.

25 homemade training equipment and models from 18 vocational training institutions participated in this year's competition. The products span many industries such as electricity - industrial sewing; agriculture ; automotive technology - welding - car driving - services - law.

During the event, participating teams displayed, explained and performed their products live in front of the jury.

The Organizing Committee awarded First Prize to the following models: mobile teaching by the group of Quang Tri Vocational College; IoT application in greenhouses by the group of Quang Tri Industrial and Agricultural Technical College; and the model of controlling and monitoring training equipment on Web Server via AWS by the group of No. 10 College of Technology and Tourism.

Many products and models are highly appreciated for their creativity.

Second prizes were awarded to outstanding devices such as: product classification model applying AI and IoT, high-tech breeding sow barn model and Inverter air conditioner model.

Many products in the Third and Encouragement prize groups also clearly demonstrate practicality and creativity in teaching and research such as a multi-function welding table with electric motor lift, IoT automatic watering model, automatic pipe welding equipment applying MIG/MAG technology, clean vegetable growing model using organic waste...

Many award-winning models and devices attracted the attention of teachers and students.

According to the organizers, the contest is an opportunity for vocational training institutions to exchange, learn and share experiences; at the same time, it encourages the movement of making their own training equipment in line with practical requirements, contributing to improving the quality of vocational training.

The first Quang Tri Province DIY Training Equipment Competition in 2025 affirms the spirit of innovation and dedication of teachers, students and pupils - those who are contributing to building a dynamic, creative and adaptable vocational education system to the requirements of innovation of the times.
