Implementing Resolution 71: Quang Tri education enters a period of strong innovation

On November 7, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri organized a conference to disseminate and deploy the Action Program of the Provincial Party Committee and the Plan of the Provincial People's Committee to implement Resolution 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development, and at the same time disseminate legal education in 2025.

This is an important conference, aiming to concretize major policies and guidelines of the Party and State, and put them into practice to meet the requirements of education and training development in the new period.

Leaders of the Department of Education and Training attended the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Dr. Le Thi Huong - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri , emphasized: Resolution 71-NQ/TW identifies education and training as one of three strategic breakthroughs, a key driving force for the country's rapid and sustainable development.

The Resolution sets out many strategic policies and solutions to develop education in an open, modern, and integrated direction; focusing on learners' qualities and capacities; and building a team of teachers and managers to meet new requirements.

To effectively implement the Resolution, the Provincial Party Standing Committee issued an Action Program; the Provincial People's Committee issued a Plan to implement the Provincial Party Committee's Action Program, clearly defining goals, tasks and solutions appropriate to the practical situation.

The contents focus on innovation in state management, staff development, investment in facilities and fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education in the province.

"The conference helps the staff, civil servants and public employees in the industry grasp the spirit, orientation and main solutions of Resolution 71-NQ/TW, the Action Program of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Plan of the Provincial People's Committee. From there, it will be concretized into the plans of each unit, contributing to the implementation of the goal of educational innovation and development in the coming time," said Dr. Le Thi Huong.

Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Vo Van Minh disseminated key contents at the conference.

At the conference, leaders of the Department of Education and Training disseminated the key contents of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW; tasks and solutions in the Action Program of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Action Plan of the Provincial People's Committee.

Delegates were also informed of the Law on Teachers; resolutions on exemption and support of tuition fees for preschool children, general education students and those studying general education programs; resolutions on universalizing preschool education for children from 3 to 5 years old and related documents.

The conference devoted time for representatives of localities and educational institutions to exchange and discuss difficulties and advantages in implementing Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW and the Law on Teachers at the grassroots level.
