Spreading the spirit of innovation through every lesson

This is a solid step of the education sector of Tuyen Quang province in the context that the education sector is promoting the 2018 General Education Program and digital transformation.

This activity is also considered a strategic and timely step of the Department of Education and Training of Tuyen Quang to consolidate and improve management efficiency and teaching quality, especially after the province implemented a 2-level local government model and no longer has a Department of Education and Training.

The establishment of 39 Professional Clusters at all levels, including connections between schools in favorable and disadvantaged areas, has created a "knowledge forum" for teachers in mountainous and lowland areas to progress together.

Bridging innovation from border to city

At Professional Cluster No. 1, the atmosphere of the activities took place at two locations: Dong Van A Primary School and Thai Phin Tung Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities. The event was attended not only by leaders and experts of the Department of Education and Training, but also by teachers from many different schools.

It is worth noting that the 10 demonstration lessons have become a valuable opportunity for teachers to exchange, learn and directly experience the reality of students in border areas.

Innovation in methods does not stop at theory. Many lessons have proven to be highly effective when applying information technology and artificial intelligence (AI). A typical example is the 3rd grade Music lesson at Dong Van A Primary School, taught by teacher Le Anh Tuan (Hong Thai Primary School, Minh Xuan Ward). The integration of technology has helped to maximize the positivity, initiative and creativity of students, meeting the capacity development orientation of the 2018 Program.

The presence of technology in teaching continues to be a highlight throughout the cluster meetings. At Yen Thuan Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Cluster 13), the topic "Application of artificial intelligence software in teaching" has attracted special attention. In the 4th grade Math illustration lesson of Mr. Lo Van Chinh, students access knowledge through virtual characters and exciting interactive games. This is clear evidence that digital transformation is creating fundamental changes, making lessons lively, attractive and enhancing the learning ability of students in disadvantaged areas.

Similarly, at Professional Cluster No. 15, the meeting at Thanh Thuy Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities gathered 75 managers and key teachers. The demonstration lessons on the topic "Application of digital transformation in teaching Vietnamese" were highly appreciated for their practicality and replicability.

In particular, with the spirit of "spreading expertise - connecting knowledge", Duc Ninh Primary School has proactively supported the organization of an in-depth training session on AI application in teaching for schools in the cluster, contributing to improving digital capacity for the entire team.

Practical solutions to local education problems

One of the major challenges for the Tuyen Quang education sector after the province merger is the effective implementation of the Local Education program. Professional cluster No. 6 organized a thematic activity to frankly address this issue: "Current situation and solutions for implementing the local education program after the province merger".

The event was held at Son Nam Primary School, Son Thuy Commune and connected online with 23 other locations, demonstrating the determination to find common solutions. The experimental lesson on Local Education - "Proud of my hometown Tuyen Quang" conducted by Ms. Pham Thi Hong Van made a strong impression. With flexible and creative organization, application of technology and active teaching techniques, the lesson not only conveyed knowledge but also aroused interest, helping students proactively learn about their hometown.

The vibrant atmosphere, spirit of learning and creativity did not only take place in large clusters. At Meo Vac Primary School (Cluster 2), the Department's Primary School Professional Advisory Group was present to support and advise schools. The discussions focused on core issues such as innovation in teaching methods, assessment of students based on their abilities, digital transformation and STEM education.

The enthusiasm of teachers in the highlands created a special highlight for cluster activities, demonstrating high consensus in implementing the key tasks of the school year.

In addition to expertise, sharing management experience is also an important content. At Cluster 11, the Principals and Vice Principals had in-depth exchanges on experiences in applying artificial intelligence and digital transformation in school management, contributing to the modernization of educational management.

Recognizing and appreciating the proactive, creative and united spirit of professional clusters, the Department of Education and Training of Tuyen Quang affirmed that the role of the cluster model is a particularly important solution for the industry.

In the recent Conference to evaluate the performance of the Professional Clusters, Mr. Vu Dinh Hung, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Tuyen Quang, acknowledged the efforts of the schools and Professional Clusters. Mr. Vu Dinh Hung emphasized: "The Clusters have been proactive, flexible, and responsible in organizing professional activities in accordance with the direction of the Department of Education and Training, making an important contribution to improving the management efficiency and teaching quality of schools in the province, especially after the merger of the province."

The Director of the Department of Education and Training of Tuyen Quang also expressed his confidence and requested the Professional Clusters, especially the Principals who are Cluster Leaders and Deputy Cluster Leaders, to continue to promote their sense of responsibility and enthusiasm to further improve operational efficiency, towards the common progress of education in Tuyen Quang province.

The cluster's professional activities have truly become a useful forum where teachers can exchange, learn, share experiences, and together promote innovative methods. With proactiveness, creativity and the spirit of connecting knowledge, Tuyen Quang primary education sector is taking steady steps on the path of improving the quality of education, deeply integrating with the trend of digital transformation and developing students' capacity.
